Shelldon Joubert started his career in 2003 with a vision to be unique…

By setting high standards of service excellence and ultimately transforming his clients into style ambassadors. Shelldon’s philosophy is simple “My passion to make people beautiful is the driving force in my personal life and career”. After 5 years of hard work & dedication, Shelldon decided to open his own salon in 2008 – aptly named Style Me Famous.

A few years later Shelldon spreads his wings to work and gain more experience in Canada under a true master – Frank Tripodi (nominated for both Canadian Hairstylist of the Year & Master Hairstylist of the Year). Frank appointed Shelldon as Creative Director in his leading salon (Phases) based in Toronto. The young South African soon made his mark in Canada as a leading stylist.

Shelldon returned to South Africa as international stylist and make-up artist to continue growing his own brand and business – working closely with local celebrities and dancers. Soon he opened his second salon in Cape Town to cater for the local demand in the market. “I believe that each client is unique and deserves my total undivided attention – personalizing each client to their own image and lifestyle is imperative.”

Style Me Famous became the pride and joy of a passionate master stylist, make-up artist & image consultant – a story of how a dream became reality and touched the lives of many special clients over many years. In Shelldon’s own words: “My success is determined by the experience each client has with my brand. I pride myself in being in touch with the latest trends in beauty, style, fashion and technology.”
